Referring your patients for diagnostic ultrasound

We are pleased to offer Diagnostic Ultrasound as a fast, non-invasive imaging solution for musculoskeletal conditions. We welcome referrals from GPs, physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, and other healthcare professionals who require ultrasound imaging to assist in patient care.

HOW TO REFER A PATIENT

1. Complete the Referral Form
Fill in the Referral Form with all the necessary clinical details.

2. Submit the Referral
The completed form will wing it’s way over to us at hello@highcliffechiropractic.co.uk.

3. Patient Contact & Appointment Booking
Once we receive the referral, we will contact the patient directly to arrange a convenient appointment.

4. Report & Results
Following the scan, a detailed report will be sent to the referring clinician. If necessary, we can discuss findings to ensure seamless patient care.

Who can be referred?

We accept referrals for most musculoskeletal conditions of the peripheral joints including shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands, hips, knees, ankles and feet.

Here are some examples of the conditions diagnostic ultrasound can visualise:

  • Rotator cuff tears/tendinopathies

  • Calcific tendinopathy

  • Bursitis

  • Osteoarthritis

  • Tennis/golfers elbow

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome

  • Dupuytren’s contracture

  • Trigger finger

  • Baker’s cysts

  • Achilles tendinopathy

  • Plantar fasciitis

  • Soft tissue lumps
