Meet the Team

  • David Allen DC

David co-founded Highcliffe Chiropractic with Wei Lin in 1990, with a shared aim of helping people in the local community feel and move better. He qualified as a chiropractor in 1987 following an earlier career in medical research and brings almost 40 years of clinical experience to the practice.

In 2009, David developed a particular interest in Diagnostic Ultrasound and went on to complete his MSc in 2012. He also spent 10 years teaching Diagnostic Ultrasound at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, sharing his experience with future professionals in the field.

Today, David continues to see patients for chiropractic care, alongside offering Diagnostic Ultrasound at the clinic.

  • Holly Allen DC

Holly graduated from the AECC with a Master's degree in Chiropractic in 2019, where she also qualified in sports massage. She joined Highcliffe Chiropractic the same year and has since played an important role in developing and modernising the clinic.

Alongside chiropractic, Holly has a particular interest in Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound, completing her MSc in 2024. She also continues to develop her knowledge of nutrition through the Academy of Chiropractic Nutrition and incorporates nutritional advice into her clinical practice where appropriate. Taking a whole-person approach, Holly considers nutrition, movement, exercise and lifestyle alongside hands-on care, helping patients understand how these factors may influence their health, recovery and overall wellbeing.

Holly enjoys getting to know the people she treats and takes an individual approach to care, combining chiropractic treatment with techniques such as soft tissue work and dry needling where appropriate. Patient education is an important part of her approach, helping people better understand their bodies and feel more confident managing their health.

Away from the clinic, Holly leads a busy and active life. She enjoys cycling, running, sea dipping, yoga and Pilates, alongside singing, crafts, cooking and gardening.

  • Hazel Allen SMT

Hazel qualified in Sports Massage Therapy in 2022 and joined Highcliffe Chiropractic the same year. Since then, she has built a busy practice working with a wide range of people, including runners, swimmers, tennis and padel players, gym-goers and those who simply want to move more comfortably and look after their bodies.

With a long-standing interest in health, fitness and strength training, Hazel understands the demands that sport, training and everyday life can place on the body. Her approach is tailored to the individual, whether that's supporting recovery between training sessions, managing muscular tension or helping someone feel and move more comfortably. She also has a growing interest in injury rehabilitation and is continuing her professional training in this area.

In August 2026, Hazel opened her own dedicated sports massage clinic, Source Therapy, just across the road from Highcliffe Chiropractic. The two clinics continue to work closely together, making it easy for patients who visit both.

  • Wei Lin Allen DC

Wei Lin qualified as a chiropractor in 1989 following an early career in university pharmacological research. Together with David, she founded Highcliffe Chiropractic in 1990 and helped build the clinic into the practice it is today.

Her natural affinity with animals later led her to qualify in Veterinary Chiropractic in 2012, inspired in part by wanting to better support her own elderly dog.

After more than 30 years in clinical practice, Wei Lin has now stepped back from hands-on chiropractic care, but remains very much part of life at Highcliffe Chiropractic. She continues to play an essential role behind the scenes as the clinic's main administrative lead.
